If you are craving for some mexican food, you can easily put together this dish within 30 minutes. Not much skill is required for this dish, just make sure you don’t over cook the chicken and make sure the vegetables remain crunchy. Here’s a quick and easy recipe for chicken fajitas:
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cloves of minced garlic
2 skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut into strips
1 medium green pepper, cut into strips
1 medium red pepper, cut into strips
1 medium onion, sliced
8 Flour Tortillas, warmed as instructed on package
1 packet 35g Old Elpaso Spice Mix for Original Smoky BBQ Fajitas
Shredded Mexican cheese (Pepper Jack & medium cheddar cheese)
Heat the oil in a 10 inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic, chicken and fajitas spice mix and stir fry chicken until it is well browned.
Reduce the heat to medium. Add the pepper and onion. Cook and stir until the vegetables are tender-crisp. Cook until the chicken is cooked through.
Serve right away, with warm tortillas, cheese, sour cream, guacamole and chopped tomatoes.
