This is the last set of our maternity shots by Adorby. BabyM and I are both wearing something very simple as I wanted the focus to be more on the bump. Giving birth is a woman’s sacred duty and surely not an easy task. It begins with morning sickness (thank god mine was not too bad) and fatigue, which is then followed by physical changes during the first trimester. The second trimester is when you enter the honeymoon period where the morning sickness begins to fade and you feel more energized. As the third trimester approaches, your bump gets noticeably bigger and heavier. I personally had very bad heartburns so I had to be very selective with what I ate. I was basically waiting for the heartburn to come after each meal. As much as I suffered during my pregnancy, there are times when I would miss being pregnant. It made me felt special. No one but a mother can understand the connection between mother and baby during those nine months. Those tiny hiccups and big kicks reminded me I was never alone! I always had an excuse to pig out as I was eatting for two. I also enjoyed being looked after by my husband, family and friends. I tend to forget all the pain I’ve gone through given the numerous positive aspects of pregnancy.
