In my previous post we put together a popular Korean side dish – Seasoned Korean Spinach Salad – which is commonly added to Bibimbaps. Today, we are going to prepare another vegetable – seasoned bean sprouts. It is made with almost identical ingredients with the seasoned spinach salad.
What You Need:
350g Bean sprout
1 teaspoon ground salt, add to water
Water to boil
For seasoning sauce:
1 teaspoon finely chopped scallion
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon roasted sesame seeds
1/2 teaspoon ground salt
1 tablespoon sesame oil
What To Do:
1. Rinse the bean sprouts and boil them in a pot of water for 2 minutes.
2. Drain the water and run cold water on the sprouts for 2 minutes.
3. Squeeze the excess water out from the bean sprouts.
4. Add the seasoning and mix them well. Garnish with scallion.
