Monochrome and floral are two very contrasting trends, yet both are at the forefront for this year’s must-have looks for the Spring Summer 2013. While one gives off a cool and sleek vibe, the other radiates warmth and is the epitome of chic. Baby M and I will be featuring these two trends in the upcoming posts.
This season’s florals come in all sorts of colors ranging from soft pastel blossoms to dark gardens in full bloom (which in my opinion is not so suitable for the little ones). You can find your florals in traditional floral-printed pants, mini skirts, summer dresses, shorts etc., and at the same time 3D designs with oversized floral motifs. In the first entry post our StyleInk makeover, I have played around with the floral trend, a theme that is more fun and celebrating. The floral pattern on each of the outfits are not the same but the colors and patterns complement each other.
